What is Tawasaw?
Tawasaw is an Arabic word mentioned in the Quran. The word is a verb in the plural, past continuous tense that means “a group of people who actively advise and support one another”.
This one word, Tawasaw, summarizes everything we are about and everything we aim to achieve. At Tawasaw, we aim to connect Muslim youth with Allah SWT and His messenger SAAW through the Quran and Sunnah. We use the Seerah of Prophet Muhammad as our guiding light and we focus on bonding through brotherhood and sisterhood.
In the Quran
To inspire Muslim youth through learning, fellowship, and service to become upright leaders who passionately serve their community and nation.
To see Muslim youth proud of their faith and identity, connected with their communities and institutions, and actively shaping the future.
We strive to build a culture lead by youth but guided by the wisdom of teachers & scholars. We encourage creativity, curiosity, and open dialogue in everything we do.
We aim to cultivate certain values in anyone who becomes a part of Tawasaw. Standing for what is right, benevolence, empathy, responsibility, consistency, and respect.
I'm always looking for new and exciting opportunities. Let's connect.
