  1. As-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa
  2. barakatuh, and welcome back to Ramadan
  3. series, Your Relationship with Allah
  4. Subhana Wa Ta'ala. We covered three
  5. categories last episode that Allah does
  6. not love those who transgress. Allah
  7. does not love those who are ungrateful.
  8. Allah does not love those who betray and
  9. deceive others. We will continue with
  10. this list so that we make sure we don't
  11. meet any of these categories so that we
  12. stay within the categories of the people
  13. that Allah loves Subhana Wa Ta'ala. One
  14. of the biggest statements in the Quran,
  15. inna Allaha la yuhibbul mufsidin, Allah
  16. does not love mischiefers. This category
  17. came in two statements. Inna Allaha la
  18. yuhibbul mufsidin wallahu la yuhibbul
  19. fasad. Allah does not love mischiefers
  20. and Allah does not love mischief. What
  21. am I talking about? We're talking about
  22. corruption on the level of the society.
  23. We're talking about when people start
  24. accepting bribes. When people start, you
  25. know, bypassing the systems with
  26. connections, vasita and rashwa. We're
  27. talking about when people allow
  28. themselves to become corrupt to make a
  29. little bit of money
  30. or a little bit of fame or a little bit
  31. of power. It becomes, you know, the
  32. person is willing to do what he or she
  33. should never do. This idea of luring
  34. people with money, with connections,
  35. I'll give you a little bit power, I'll
  36. give you a little bit fame, some wealth.
  37. This action, when you spread that,
  38. that's called fasad. It's very
  39. interesting that in English the facade
  40. is the front of the building, the cover,
  41. the things that covers it. In Arabic,
  42. fasad is to put a show of mischief, to
  43. put a show of corruption on Earth. Allah
  44. Azza Wa Jalla says, wa idha tawalla,
  45. this person, when he goes on on earth
  46. said feeling
  47. you have to see that we have while you
  48. can have
  49. and this person when he turns around and
  50. walks the earth to spread mischief and
  51. corruption
  52. you know and destroy
  53. the land the farmland and destroy the
  54. children destroy the progeny of the
  55. people As if Allah is talking about war
  56. indirectly. This is what we see
  57. happening in
  58. the children are dying the
  59. infrastructure is dying destroyed the
  60. farms are destroyed people are left to
  61. starve for a prolonged time while the
  62. world is watching and pretending nothing
  63. is happening. Allah does not love those
  64. who commit these acts of corruption
  65. destruction war aggression oppression.
  66. You don't want to be one of these people
  67. and you don't want to sell your here
  68. after for a cheap price in this world
  69. no amount of money no amount of fame no
  70. amount of power is worth your soul don't
  71. sell your soul to the devil by going
  72. with the path of corruption as Allah
  73. warns us of that in
  74. the next category that Allah
  75. mentioned in the Quran.
  76. Allah
  77. does not love extravagant people when a
  78. person is extravagant that's an
  79. indication that the person has extra
  80. wealth
  81. and instead of helping people with that
  82. wealth they just keep on spending and
  83. spending and spoiling themselves more
  84. and more and more
  85. until it becomes pointless
  86. so even when it comes to not spending
  87. even if it comes to eating, Allah says
  88. "Wash rabu wala tusrifu. Innahu la
  89. yuhibbul musrifin." Eat and drink,
  90. but don't overdo it.
  91. You know, israf comes with halal, not
  92. with haram. Haram is haram, you should
  93. not do it.
  94. Like, just don't do it.
  95. Israf, just don't overdo it. It comes
  96. with halal.
  97. Is it halal to eat bread? Yeah, it is.
  98. But should you eat 100 pieces of bread a
  99. day? No, that most probably will kill
  100. you or cause you diabetes or something.
  101. Or, you know, stomach pain. So, my dear
  102. brothers and sisters,
  103. israf is something that the believer
  104. runs away from. We believers try to live
  105. a minimalistic,
  106. simple life. And specially for us who
  107. has wealth,
  108. there's people around the world, be it
  109. in, you know, Indonesia, in Africa, even
  110. in America, 13 million children go to
  111. sleep without dinner. In the richest
  112. country in the world. Why?
  113. Because all the casinos in Las Vegas are
  114. dumping tons and tons of food that
  115. nobody's allowed to use or reuse. They
  116. say the amount of food waste in the
  117. United States can go up to 70%. It's an
  118. astronomical number. Allah does not love
  119. those who are extravagant. If you have
  120. too much money on your hand, go and
  121. invest it. Go and give charity.
  122. Save some of it. But don't be spending
  123. your money
  124. mindlessly. Allah will not love you or
  125. love that action. The next category of
  126. people that Allah does not love are
  127. those who cover the truth,
  128. fight the truth, dilute the truth,
  129. give half a truth, you know, these
  130. people are
  131. you know, a category by themselves. Al
  132. kafirin, those who intentionally, they
  133. They the truth and they intentionally
  134. fight it, and look the other way, and
  135. turn a blind eye, and refuse to accept
  136. it.
  137. When that's the purpose of their life.
  138. Why are we all alive? Just to know the
  139. truth,
  140. follow the truth, promote the truth, and
  141. that as they say the truth shall set you
  142. free.
  143. And this is what we believe as Muslims.
  144. Allah's name is the truth. Islam is the
  145. truth. Quran is the truth, you know?
  146. There is truth in this world. There is
  147. certainty in this world. Not everything
  148. is maybe or perhaps. There is certainty
  149. that there is good versus bad, good
  150. versus evil, right versus wrong. Do you
  151. know truth versus falsehood? May Allah
  152. Azza wa Jal make us from the followers
  153. of the truth. Amen. Ya Rabbal Alameen.
  154. The next category of people that Allah
  155. does not love, wallahu la yuhibbu
  156. zalimin. Allah does not love the
  157. oppressors, the aggressors. We see so
  158. much oppression in the world right now
  159. that we are baffled. Like the whole
  160. world is watching what's happening in
  161. Gaza, and nothing no one can do anything
  162. to stop that oppression and aggression.
  163. Allah does not love those who are
  164. aggressors, the dictators, the tyrants,
  165. the murderers, the killers.
  166. And we the believers should abstain and
  167. stay away from that and be the people of
  168. justice and fairness, inshallah. Rabbal
  169. Alameen.
  170. And the last category of people that
  171. Allah Subhana wa Ta'ala Allah does not
  172. love are those who are arrogant.
  173. Oh my god, Allah does not stand arrogant
  174. people. Snobby, boastful, full of
  175. themselves, selfish.
  176. This category could be like uh an
  177. episode by itself.
  178. But Subhanallah, you know, I know
  179. everybody knows when we talk about kibr,
  180. but kibr has a root.
  181. I am better than you.
  182. You are less than me. In Islam as
  183. Muslims,
  184. Allah knows who's best. The best of
  185. amongst us are those with the most
  186. righteousness. Inna akramakum indallahi
  187. atqakum. And taqwa is inside the heart.
  188. So, we don't know who's best and who's
  189. better than the other one, but Allah
  190. knows and Allah decide. So, we live our
  191. lives with humbleness, doing our duty,
  192. serving mankind and humanity and the
  193. creation. And we ask Allah subhana wa
  194. ta'ala to grant us humbleness and
  195. humility in his name, for his sake. May
  196. Allah subhana wa ta'ala never make us
  197. from those whom he does not love. And
  198. may Allah make us from those whom he
  199. loves. Amin ya rabbal alamin. Wa
  200. sallallahu ala sayyidina Muhammad wa ala
  201. alihi wa sahbihi ajma'in.
