will be yahya a name we have not given
to anyone before the angels announced
that the name to this boy is
a name that nobody has ever gone and
allah himself named the boy
and sent angels down as messengers
one was in is-7 which we already talked
about
but he's also mentioned from 12 to 15 in
the surah which
are continuations of each other these
few ayahs describe his personality
throughout his life but also how he was
as a child
in ayah 12 allah says o
goes firmly to the scriptures allah is
telling him that he should always follow
the way of the revelations and the books
that were given to other prophets
in the same ayah allah said and we
granted him wisdom while he was still a
child as a child from maximum around 10
to 12 years of age was given the wisdom
at this age and the knowledge that many
people don't even have allah says
also got purity and compassion from us
we all know what compassion is basically
feeling for each other and wanting to
help them which gave him the quality of
being loving and a gentle person
when allah means purity this can be
interpreted in a few ways none of which
are wrong i think the most significant
of these interpretations is that purity
in this case means was a man that was
pure and clean and he was distance he
distanced himself away from all types of
haram but he also but it also means that
he drew himself closer to allah allah
also said
that he was god-fearing which obviously
means that he was in awe of allah
in ayah 14 allah continues to say that
he was kind to his parents he was
neither arrogant nor disobedient allah
says that was not arrogant not
disobedient arrogance is defined as
having too much pride in itself which
can be done through bragging about uh
worldly possessions and accomplishments
so yahey was not arrogant he didn't brag
about himself and he was also not
disobedient meaning he listened to his
parents but he also listened to the word
of allah him not being arrogant but also
tied to him uh not being a tyrant
because since he wasn't arrogant he
didn't have a sense of superiority over
other people
which is oftentimes the reason for our
tyranny to take place he made himself
equal to others and also one important
thing to point out is that
was not just made like this
but also he chose to be like this

to have a son even though him and his
wife were too old and his wish was uh
eventually granted zakariyah was told
this through angels that were sent down
by allah
that told him that his son would be a
prophet and he would be the first to be
named
from a very young age was given wisdom
knowledge and judgment at the level that
most people don't have he was kind
compassionate fear in his actions and
was also god-fearing
he was kind to his parents not arrogant
and not disobedient
is a role model through the qualities he
was given by allah one thing we can
learn from his story is that like us he
was from a society and a world with an
environment filled with haram but he
stayed pious and sure allah he's also
assigned to us that's never too early to
gain as much knowledge as we can since
he is known as a prophet that was
knowledgeable as anybody else from the
days of his childhood

by having children

explain things to them

depth of islam and wisdom
because they're not blinded with desires

because once you hit 12 13 you become

to get the food that she needs when she
is very weak also this is a miracle of
allah because um
in reality if 10 men were to shake a
palm tree they would not be able to get
one single day to fall but

she was able to eat them

bravest choices one has ever made
because allah had told her to take a vow

and yet she returned to her city so
