  3. on as we yesterday discussed the
  4. resource of time that Allah subhana
  5. ta'ala blessed us with and inshallah
  6. today we will be elaborating on how to
  7. maximize the usage of our time that
  8. Allah has given us in this world and
  9. then how to prolong it even above and
  10. beyond so bismah now let's explore some
  11. ways that we can take advantage of our
  12. limited short time on this planet number
  13. one the prophet sallallahu alaih Al
  14. wasallam showed us how to make our time
  15. on planet Earth prolonged how can you
  16. prolong your life which is a concept
  17. that is very strange to people the
  18. people say my birthday is on this date
  19. my death day Allah decided it that's it
  20. you have to know that Destiny and time
  21. is in the hands of Allah if Allah Wills
  22. that you will live longer you will live
  23. longer because time is under the control
  24. of Allah how can we live
  25. longer and put a blessing in our times
  26. the prophet sallallahu alai
  27. said narrated in the bukari
  28. whosoever loves to see his risk
  29. expand and his time prolonged your
  30. lifetime prolonged let him be good to
  31. his kinship when was the last time you
  32. called your aunt your mom's sister kala
  33. when was the last time you called and
  34. checked on on your dad's sister Amma
  35. when was the last time you checked on
  36. your nieces and nephews when was the
  37. last time you practiced Al cuz another
  38. Hadith says that what prolongs life is
  39. Al how honorable have you been with your
  40. parents do you deal with them with B
  41. because that stuff prolongs your life
  42. Subhan Allah everyone wants to Li live
  43. longer everyone is looking for that
  44. thing that can make you live forever but
  45. the thing that will make you live longer
  46. from Islamic perspective
  47. is and you wishing well for other
  48. believers and other Muslims insh is
  49. there any
  50. strategies that we can use to maximize
  51. our time and to use our time wisely yes
  52. number one always have a schedule if you
  53. don't have a schedule your time will be
  54. wasted but you say but I don't have
  55. anything to fill the schedule that's
  56. exactly the point when you make a
  57. schedule you will discover how much time
  58. you have that you are not using WI
  59. number two what is the easiest way to
  60. gain hassat when time is passing the
  61. easiest way is subhah waala look how
  62. wasam taught us to do 33 times Subhan
  63. Allah 33 times alhamdulillah 33 times
  64. Allah you should have a system a word
  65. that you follow how long do you spend
  66. driving to work and coming back from
  67. work do you use that in do you use that
  68. to listen to the Quran do you use that
  69. to learn your dean and listen to a
  70. lecture there's so many ways you can use
  71. dead time otherwise in the pleasure of
  72. Allah subhana tala for the sake of Allah
  73. third one is to actually establish
  74. something
  75. called why
  76. because enables you to receive hassat
  77. and do good deeds after you die imagine
  78. Islam and Allah subhana tala opened for
  79. you the door to make more hassat after
  80. you die than you made hassat when you
  81. were alive and that's why I love Islam
  82. and I love the way it's
  83. structured is a residual charity that
  84. keeps on giving and giving and giving
  85. the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam
  86. in many examples give us three examples
  87. number one that you raise a child that
  88. keeps on making prayers and supplication
  89. for you and keeps on doing Good Deeds
  90. that child you raise whether that child
  91. is yours or someone else Subhan Allah
  92. every time they do a good deed that they
  93. learn from you Allah will give you a
  94. copy of their hassat their Good Deeds
  95. number two you leave behind a knowledge
  96. that would benefit people so that they
  97. use it after you pass away you receive a
  98. copy of their hassat number three you
  99. give a this could be a residual char
  100. could be basically you built a well of
  101. water you built a school for Education
  102. you built a hospital for treatment you
  103. built a Masjid for prayers something
  104. that people will keep on using again and
  105. again and again and as long as they're
  106. using it you will be receiving hassat
  107. what a beautiful religion number four do
  108. not delay and
  109. procrastinate and do the good deed as
  110. soon as it comes to your mind time of
  111. Salah comes get up and pray you get a
  112. good idea I'm going to go to the Masjid
  113. and read some Quran get up and go to the
  114. Masjid it might be your last deed don't
  115. say I will do it tomorrow after tomorrow
  116. cuz what Allah tells us about the
  117. greatest regret that the human will have
  118. is at the moment of death when the angel
  119. of death comes to take the soul and he
  120. says oh Allah would you have just
  121. delayed me a little bit more can you
  122. give me some more time that's the wish
  123. of people who lived wasting their life
  124. and their time and not appreciating it
  125. my dear brothers and sisters to explain
  126. this point of not procrastinating and
  127. taking initiative the prophet sallallahu
  128. alaihi wasallam said in this genius
  129. Hadith take advantage of five before
  130. five things happen take advantage of
  131. your youth before you become old you can
  132. do much take advantage of your health
  133. before you can become sick and you
  134. cannot do much right take advantage when
  135. you have wealth and money and Obey Allah
  136. with that money before maybe the money
  137. is gone take advantage of your available
  138. time before you become busy and take
  139. advantage of Your Life Before Dying
  140. Subhan Allah what a wise statement
  141. sallallah alaihi wasallam take take
  142. initiative and start acting quickly
  143. because one of the most beautiful
  144. sayings is that time is like a sword if
  145. you don't cut with it it will cut you so
  146. let's use our time in the wisest
  147. way
