2 moments mention “Prayer”:

  1. Welcome back "As-Sirat al-Mustaqim" series
  2. Today we will equip you with the tools that you can use
  3. to protect yourself from accursed Satan
  4. So let's start God willing. Now, Alhamdulillah.
  5. Here is the good news.
  6. Allah SWT said in the Quran:
  7. (Indeed, Satan’s schemes are ever weak)
  8. all of these plots and strategies
  9. and ways of Satan are very, very weak, Alhamdulillah.
  10. So how can we counter that?
  11. How can a believer protect himself from Satan move on with his life
  12. without the effect of Satan and the control of Satan over his head?
  13. Number one, as we all know, Surahs Al-Falaq and An-Nas,
  14. when you read it three times, three times, Prophet PBUH said
  15. This is "Herz" a protection from Satan. But even easier than that.
  16. Subhanallah, the Prophet PBUH saw someone very angry.
  17. His face was very red and was blowing and expanding,
  18. and the Prophet looked at him and told his companions, I know something,
  19. if this man says it, his anger will go away.
  20. They said: "What is it, Prophet?"
  21. He said, if he says:
  22. "I seek refuge in Allah from the cursed the casted Satan"
  23. I seek refuge in Allah
  24. because when you bring the name of Allah, satan doesn't stand a chance.
  25. The third thing that you should do, that Allah invited us in the Quran,
  26. that will help you with this idea, if you're trying to read Quran
  27. and you feel resentful and like something comes to you.
  28. You say: "I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan"
  29. (When you recite the Quran, seek refuge with Allah from Satan, the accursed)
  30. It's very interesting,
  31. that before we start reading Quran, we say: "I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan"
  32. And if it's the beginning of the Surah we say: "Bismillah Rahman Rahim"
  33. Why that is "I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan"?
  34. It is because Satan will sit to you
  35. and in your face and try everything for you not to read the Quran.
  36. And if you read it, to not understand it,
  37. and if you understand it, to not apply it.
  38. He hates the Quran because it's the guidance
  39. and it is As-Sirat al-Mustaqim
  40. The next is to read Surah Al-Baqarah, especially in a house. The Prophet PBUH said:
  41. "If Surah Al-Baqarah is recited in a house within three days,
  42. Satan will not enter that house"
  43. So Alhamdullilah, that's a protection for our homes and our families.
  44. You know, you read it loud with your voice.
  45. If you know how to read Arabic, if you don't know, that's when you run,
  46. Surah Al-Baqarah in the background, Insha'Allah Rabb Alameen
  47. The fifth protection from accursed satan is to actually make Wudhu.
  48. Oh, my God, that's so powerful.
  49. Making Wudhu and prayers, Wudhu
  50. is water, Satan, Allah created him from fire
  51. Prophet PBUH said:
  52. "Satan runs where the blood runs" and he hates the blood.
  53. You feel your blood is boiling.
  54. You become angry.
  55. You start sweating.
  56. You feel the heat.
  57. The best thing is to take a Wudhu.
  58. And even if it's a family feud, I would actually recommend
  59. to even take a shower, and then to follow it with praying two Rakat
  60. for the sake of Allah SWT
  61. The six protection from Satan is to recite Ayah Al-Kursi
  62. Subhanallah, there's a beautiful hadith: "Whosoever reads,
  63. Ayah Al-Kursi after every written Salah, meaning, Fajr, Dhuhur, Asr, Maghrib
  64. and Ishaa, there is nothing between him and "Jannah" heaven except death.
  65. If he dies, the person goes to Jannah.
  66. What a powerful Ayah in The Noble Quran (Hadith)
  67. The seventh protection from accursed satan is to increase your Dhikr.
  68. Do morning Dhikr, evening Dhikr, and Dhikr after prayer
  69. Every time you're driving, you're walking.
  70. Increase your Dhikr.
  71. It will block Satan,
  72. and connect you with Ar-Rahman, Subhanahu wa Ta'ala
  73. Having said all of that, don't forget that if we have one Satan,
  74. that is trying to do Waswas and being Qareen for us,
  75. Remember, we have so many angels. In one Hadith, the Prophet PBUH
  76. tells us that were surrounded by ten angels,
  77. and these ten angels take shifts.
  78. They come at Fajr and at Asr, and they change shifts.
  79. So don't feel weak in front of Satan
  80. and don't use Satan as an excuse for every wrong thing you do in your life.
  81. That's why we say: "I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan"
  82. We take responsibility for our actions.
  83. We repent.
  84. We ask for less forgiveness
  85. May Allah the Mighty and the Majestic
  86. help us in this month of Ramadan and after the month of Ramadan,
  87. to overcome Satan and to push him out of our lives.
  88. Ameen Ya Rabb Alameen, and Peace Be Upon Our Prophet Mohammad
