  1. As-salāmu ʿalaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh
  2. Welcome back to Tawassaw's Ramadan series for the year 1446
  3. Last episode we talked about the state of the human and his defects that Allah exposed to the human The Noble Quran
  4. We will move on with that and explore more verses that expose ourselves to us
  5. because this will affect your relationship with Allah SWT
  6. Allah tells us in the Quran
  7. (and you ˹O humanity˺ have been given but little knowledge)
  8. And you have only been given little of knowledge
  9. The human does not like to be dumbfounded
  10. It's very interesting that when we go from being children that we know nothing about nothing
  11. and we don't care if someone tells us you don't know
  12. Once we switch to being teenagers and we start developing the adult psychology
  13. we become very insulted if someone tells us you don't know
  14. You kind of fight it back
  15. No I know!
  16. It's very interesting how you know teenagers act as if they know everything suddenly
  17. Why?
  18. Because the human hates to be dumbfounded and that's an encouragement to go and learn
  19. But what we find from scientists
  20. that the more you learn and the more you know the more you discover how much you don't know
  21. Scientists just about 50 years ago they used to tell us the universe is made of atoms
  22. Right now we find out that only 4% of the universe is made of atoms
  23. 96% we have no idea what's going on
  24. We have identified it and categorized it in two categories
  25. Dark matter and dark energy
  26. This shows that 96% science today and all of those who are in the field of science
  27. when they talk so confidently and they are so sure about God not existing
  28. they actually only know about 4% of what's going on in this universe
  29. or what exists in this universe
  30. If that's not the fulfillment of the verse when Allah says
  31. (and you ˹O humanity˺ have been given but little knowledge)
  32. and you have only been given a little knowledge
  33. then what does? 4% versus 96%?
  34. This goes on, Allah the Mighty and the Majestic tells us that in our relationship with Him
  35. we have to make peace with the idea that we don't know and Allah knows
  36. that we might like something that is bad for us
  37. (Perhaps you dislike something which is good for you)
  38. Maybe you hate something and it's good for you
  39. and maybe you love something and it is bad for you
  40. and Allah knows and you don't
  41. It's very important to realize that our relationship with Allah
  42. is not relationship of equals, we're not equal to God
  43. We are honored to be His servants, His slaves on earth
  44. and He's the most merciful SWT
  45. Allah SWT remedies that
  46. When Allah tells you you have been only given little knowledge
  47. when Allah tells you I know and you don't know
  48. He has a remedy for that
  49. and this remedy came in the first five verses in The Noble Quran
  50. (Read, ˹O Prophet,˺ in the Name of your Lord Who created, created humans from a clinging clot.
  51. Read! And your Lord is the Most Generous)
  52. Read and your Lord is the Most Generous
  53. (Who taught by the pen)
  54. He taught with the pen
  55. We the human beings are the only species that write with the pen
  56. and here is the verse that says
  57. (taught humanity what they knew not)
  58. He taught the human what he knows not
  59. So Allah SWT Has opened the door for us
  60. that we would seek His knowledge
  61. we would seek to learn from Him
  62. and that Allah will happily with generosity
  63. teach us that which we don't know
  64. You see this goes even with what we know
  65. Sometimes we read things in the Quran
  66. and you will find Muslims before non-Muslims
  67. They will object on something in the Quran
  68. I am not gonna do that because I don't understand it
  69. The fact that you don't understand something
  70. does not mean it's not true
  71. That it's not for your benefit
  72. Who's talking?
  73. You the human about who?
  74. About God Almighty the One who created you?
  75. The One whose name is All-Knowing
  76. How can we have a healthy normal relationship
  77. with Allah SWT
  78. when we cannot make peace with this point?
  79. The entire establishment of Islam
  80. is that you would submit to Allah SWT
  81. that you trust Allah
  82. You trust Allah's judgment
  83. You trust Allah's laws
  84. You trust when He tells you do this
  85. Don't do that
  86. Open your mind
  87. This is very very important
  88. and until and unless we realize this point
  89. and until we start seeking knowledge
  90. the knowledge of this religion of the faith
  91. and the knowledge of the life
  92. Very interesting in the recent times
  93. as science is advancing day after day
  94. we're finding that these scientists
  95. are becoming Muslim
  96. that their science did not push them away from Allah
  97. but rather brought them closer to Allah
  98. as Allah said in the Quran
  99. (only the knowledgeable ˹of His might˺ are ˹truly˺ in awe of Him)
  100. That truly the one who fears Allah
  101. of His servants are those of knowledge
  102. and Allah did not specify in this verse
  103. which knowledge
  104. like the knowledge of the religion
  105. or the knowledge of the life
  106. So we're finding doctors, astronomers
  107. you know physicists becoming Muslims
  108. and that is because we find
  109. that there is no contradiction
  110. between the holy scripture of the Quran and science
  111. As a matter of fact
  112. science goes through waves
  113. We know, we don't know, we know
  114. and it seems they always come back
  115. to what is in The Noble Quran
  116. It's very very crucial
  117. and essential for your relationship with Allah
  118. to make peace with Allah knows
  119. and you don't know
  120. that when Allah set Islam
  121. the laws of Islam
  122. he set them for your own benefit
  123. that whether you understand the wisdom
  124. behind what Allah is saying or not
  125. should not be the decisive factor
  126. for you to follow it or not
  127. We follow, we grow in our faith
  128. and then believe me
  129. my experience has been
  130. Allah will always show you the point
  131. If you don't know what's the point
  132. of why Allah said this or that
  133. just submit and believe me
  134. Allah will show you the point
  135. and you will be the happiest person in life
  136. that you obeyed first
  137. and then you learn the reason why second
  138. May Allah the Mighty and the Majestic open our hearts
  139. teach us what we don't know
  140. increase our knowledge
  141. as Allah instructed the Prophet to make prayer
  142. (and pray, “My Lord! Increase me in knowledge.”)
  143. Ameen Ya Rabb Alameen
  144. Wasalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh
