- after this
- thank you
- our lovely brothers from in team um as
- always beautiful beautiful performance
- uh may allah reward you guys
- halfway across the globe but here with
- us virtually so thank you once again
- so like they said of course we'll have
- uh much more nasheed later on um but for
- now i want to just take a moment to
- formally uh thank you all for being here
- and joining us it is 601
- p.m um and our program has officially
- started we got warmed up with the in
- team uh with some beautiful vocals uh
- today is a big day not only will we have
- a uh many speakers that we'll be
- chatting with um but we will be
- announcing the tech the award today is
- the award ceremony for the why do i love
- this little law um competition that went
- on and um i my name is shafiq i am an
- active volunteer with stalazzo
- i
- really really appreciate what pawaso has
- going on here uh several years ago when
- um i had the opportunity and pleasure to
- help out with the lasso i
- really realized there's something
- special for the youth
- um being formed i was at the end of my
- youth and beginning of my i guess you
- know non-youth or adulthood whatever you
- want to call it so i was i was really
- able to observe both sides of this
- this this group of people coming
- together uh to remind each other to do
- good and and on that note a little bit
- of history of colossal it began in 2014
- it was essentially a youth enrichment
- program started at sbia uh but really it
- evolved to much more than that into its
- own nonprofit um in 2019 and the
- organization tawaso speaks to the
- mission that we carry out because
- linguistically it means a group of
- people who actively advise and support
- one another and that was the feeling i
- sensed early early on when we would
- gather at sbia and have events like this
- in person pre-covet days
- um
- so also continues to uh
- aim to inspire muslim youth through
- faith companionship and service to
- become leaders and the best version of
- themselves in addition to
- overall vision is to connect with muslim
- youth with each other and with their
- local centers massage it and leaders so
- that they can serve and grow their
- communities that being said i will have
- the honor and pleasure of passing on the
- torch to um your amazing host uh live
- hussein who will make sure
- uh you know your evening goes smoothly
- and we all reap the benefits uh of
- tonight inshaallah live as a first year
- student as a tuna she's a proud granada
- islamic school alumni and she's a
- die-hard they'll also volunteer um and
- you know it's my pleasure to introduce
- her and pass on the microphone to her
- and we'll be seeing you later on
- throughout the program
- yeah i'm really excited for this event
- tonight inshallah everything will go
- smoothly i wanted to add regarding to
- oso um
- one of our main missions here
- you know based on the observation
- recently that youth in our community are
- constantly being pressured by negative
- influences right so we kind of recognize
- the need to empower muslim youth through
- mentoring through learning through
- volunteering and so this speech
- competition that we're doing
- actually falls into one of five methods
- that we use to achieve our math our
- mission which is learning mentorship
- identity community service and then
- leadership and so
- to promote leadership in our youth we've
- been doing public speaking training
- we've been doing debates and
- competitions like this one today so
- through these various programs inshallah
- we hope to instill values of speaking up
- for one another right empathy
- responsibility and respect and youth
- involved in our organization and of
- course thanks to all of your support and
- involvement we hope to continue on this
- journey of inspiring our muslim youth
- insha'allah
- and to start off of course
- any event we are going to have some
- recitation by
- zakariya in sha allah and i'll pass it
- on to sheikhala al-baqri to introduce
- him inshallah
- born and raised in morocco
- currently resides in the beautiful city
- of mcnas
- and recites the quran comfortably with
- the riwaya of hafsa and masha'allah
- a world-class party actually he won the
- best party in the muslim world a few
- years back masha allah a world-class
- moonshid
- nasheed of the love and the praise of
- allah and his prophet and messenger and
- a world-class human being and a brother
- that i love to see and hang out always
- with masha allah beautiful company and
- and very good in at hiking also masha

- we would love uh for you to
- makes
- for us which is insha allah in two
- minutes
- um alhamdulillah
- so um
- what's the plan sister liba for the uh
- next we're going to have uh
- the mother if so that people know who
- are watching how are we going to handle
- the next few minutes inshallah
- definitely inshallah so throughout the
- night after we have our event we're
- going to have a 10 or 15 minute break
- from maghrib during that time we're
- going to have some nasheeds playing in
- case you have some little kids or you
- come back early you want to listen
- they're beautiful mashallah
- and then um
- we are going to have
- a winner of our speech competition
- followed by
- a speaker
- and we're gonna go through that process
- throughout the whole night we're not
- gonna tell you if the winner is first
- second or third you're gonna have to
- wait to the end for that but it
- definitely we're gonna have some winners
- throughout and so you're gonna hear
- clips of their speeches that they turned
- into us
- and then we're gonna have a speaker
- speak to us insha'allah we have lots of
- speakers throughout the night and that's
- how it's going to go i'm really excited
- inshallah alhamdulillah so
- the adhan is in one minute
- i think and then we are going to be back
- there will be after the adhan
- two minutes probably of break and then
- the brothers from the in team will step
- in and given a sheet so that the
- children and the people who are not
- praying you know the this can they are
- they can watch
- and then what time we're gonna go back
- to the program start again i believe
- it's
- starting 6 25 inshallah 6 25 inshallah
- to 6
- 30 so we're breaking i think from 6 15
- uh
- all the way
- to 6 25 or 6 30 insha allah so that's
- the plan
- and um
- i think
- um
- yes inshallah inshallah so the
- the mic is yours

- area i got a gift sunko from the
- indonesian and i think this was a gift
- from the malaysian
- uh community masha'allah and um
- i love it
- thank you for the performance beautiful
- masha allah the voice is way much better
- and the stage is beautiful masha'allah
- we are going to start off by presenting
- one of our elementary school level
- winners for our speech competition
- inshallah
- inshallah so
- our first
- display
- and again we're not going to say who's
- first and who's second who's third
- in terms of ranking we're just going to
- show you the speeches
- and then at the end we will tell you
- just to keep the excitement going but
- mashallah there is future imams and
- future sheikhas and alima's happening
- right now in the make and the first one
- that i would like to introduce to you
- beautiful young inshaallah future imam
- rashid sheikh insha allah so
- sister sadie if you can display his
- speech
- assalamu alaikum my name is rashid today
- i'm gonna talk about why i love
- rasulullah i love rasulullah because he
- had the best character
- he was kind
- merciful
- loving
- to everyone
- when he went to taipe
- to spread the message of islam
- nobody listened to him
- they drove them out of the city
- pelting stones at him
- the prophet was
- bleeding
- from head to toe
- sandals were filled with blood
- he was filled with grief and this was
- one of the sad day of his life
- when he
- reached outside of
- taif
- prophet muhammed was standing and
- angel jibril came with angel mountains
- and said yeah muhammad if you want i can
- take these two mountains and crush
- the city of thailand
- the prophet said no do not do that even
- though
- hey i want the city to become a muslim
- city and
- the children to become muslims someday
- prophet was even though the prophet was
- emotionally
- physically hurt
- he said no to the angel
- that
- even his heart had so much mercy in him
- that's that's why i love
- rasulullah because he had
- he was immersive
- out of this world unbelievable
- very captivating and uh
- heart melting masha'allah and next
- actually from the elementary also
- another contestants and by the way you
- know
- people have been submitting for two
- weeks i am not one of the judges i don't
- get involved i don't even know how to
- judge the speeches
- but um i i have the access to watch them
- so i have been crying on and off every
- time i watch one of these videos it
- revives the
- the hope and the love and the amazing
- like inshallah the future is better
- we're going to watch another amazing
- speech by
- our sister liba
- khan
- not the libra that is introducing the
- program but
- i guess the name libra comes with lots
- of talents masha allah go ahead
- i am seven years old and i am in second
- grade
- why do i love prophet muhammad
- sallallahu alaihi he was solo
- our prophets muhammad sallallahu alaihi
- wasallam had many great qualities like
- being caring
- forgiving
- truthful respectful and always remain on
- path of justice
- i would like to talk about his forgiving
- and humble nature by describing the of
- atamaka this was one of the greatest
- event in the life of prophet sallallahu
- alaihi wasallam
- bismillah
- [Music]
- [Music]
- the people of america killed many of his
- companions and family members of
- prophets
- but when foot they boycotted his family
- for three years
- and tortured him oh and
- he was in position to take revenge
- yet he just forgive
- while entering he said
- that day was the day of mercy and he
- forgave everyone
- while entering the city of makkah he was
- not arrogant he humbled himself put his
- head down declaring the praise of allah
- subhanahu wa tala
- reciting
- again and again
- he came back victorious to the people
- who tortured who harmed him for years
- and he forgave them
- this is a sunnah this is the fact of
- allah
- mercy compassion and forgiveness this
- from this we learn we need to forgive
- people even if it is hard and to be
- humble
- may allah make her a pleasure to the
- eyes of their parents
- and all the participants i'm telling you
- it was i guess for the judges it was
- very very hard
- uh to judge between all of these kids
- they were all amazing masha'allah sister
- liba what do we have next
- masha allah all right next up we are
- going to have our first speaker and i
- will introduce her a little bit before
- she comes on
- dr hibba abneven she is a physician by
- training who obtained her medical degree
- from damascus medical school in syria
- and then she obtained her masters of
- public health from northeastern
- university in boston she worked for
- several years at the massachusetts
- department of public health as a women's
- health consultant before moving to
- california
- she has been working as an independent
- muslim health consultant and educator
- for eight years
- dr hibba is currently working as a
- part-time academic researcher at the
- muslims and mental health lab at
- stanford university please welcome dr
- hippa
- sister
- raheem
- allah
- for inviting me and it's an honor to be
- with you all today and um let me set my
- uh alarm for five minutes because he
- said that we'll be talking for five
- minutes
- so insha allah i will make it five or
- less
- inshallah
- he asked me uh you need to talk in five
- minutes why do you love rasulullah
- and i was thinking like subhanallah um
- every day every day why do i love
- rasulullah i have so many reasons why i
- love him
- and then actually i i was not like able
- to describe
- my love um
- unless i remember one quote by imam
- razali and i can't agree more what he
- said he said imam gazali
- beauty
- is the reason why we fall in love with
- people so when they have a beautiful
- character we fall in love with them and
- the prophet muhammad sallallahu alaihi
- wasallam he was the most beautiful
- allahi indeed
- subhanallah
- this is how i describe why i love him
- because i can feel that love in my daily
- life in every situation i go through
- subhanallah as a mother as a wife as a
- daughter as
- a physician you know in my work with my
- friends subhanallah as a neighbor so um
- i wanted to
- share my experience
- uh just like in few minutes in three
- words
- uh i hope that you take it as you know
- for the youth take it as a you know a
- takeaway message and allah it will help
- you in your life insha'allah as it
- helped me three words
- knowledge
- and
- love
- and the third word dua
- so remember the three elem knowledge
- love and
- how is that islam this is subhanallah
- increasing my knowledge um to know who
- is my prophet this is actually one of
- the best things ever
- i have you know made in my life
- subhanallah is to know who is my prophet
- muhammad
- and that made me love him so much
- subhanallah and get closer to him
- and benefit from that and apply what i
- learned in my life
- in different situations of how i
- remember him
- was with me if prophet
- he do subscribe
- so
- when i was young in your age i started
- studying the seerah i studied it from
- different resources alhamdulillah
- different books and with muslim scholars
- and it helped me a lot building that
- knowledge and love and the trust and
- being proud of my prophet muhammad
- and alhamdulillah my husband he did the
- same when he was young so when we got
- married to each other we benefited a lot
- from his
- how he treated his wives how he treated
- his daughters
- and how he treated women in general in
- his society at that time so subhanallah
- it's really beautiful the more you know
- your prophet the more you fall in love
- with him so remember this adam
- um the second thing is um
- he says you know like in the quran
- allah
- so if you really say muhammad tell them
- if you want really love allah follow me
- follow muhammad me muhammad muhammad so
- allah will love you back so subhanallah
- loving prophet muhammad and following
- his sunnah
- help me discover the path
- to allah
- and and i felt i feel it
- the second thing
- is
- love the second word so you study the
- seerah and you try to apply it in your
- life
- and one tip i learned that when i was
- like asking myself one day how
- um you know how can i increase the love
- of a prophet
- and i heard one sheikh telling
- subhanallah on youtube saying this is a
- practical tip it's very practical he
- said
- try to practice sending salam and salah
- every day to prophet muhammad
- not just during your you know your salah
- prayer no but even
- um when you you remember him in the car
- for example when i'm driving my car they
- say allah
- subhan allah i'm talking about my
- experience i i i i can feel the
- difference in my life subhanallah and
- the benefits of how the sending salah to
- prophet muhammed helped me the last
- thing um is uh
- always make the
- make dot to allah to
- increase the love of prophet in your
- heart and to make you insha allah
- among the people who get the shafa he
- will be your intercessor in the day of
- judgment
- allah benefit us from your knowledge
- and masha allah dr
- teaches
- [Music]
- you know
- about puberty to girls masha allah
- directly through her and we also through
- tawasa and her success has been
- masha'allah the class has been a great
- successor
- and inshallah we see you more and more
- and more
- our young talented speakers we're so
- enthusiastic engaging and passionate so
- we are going to move on to our middle
- school level speakers and present one of
- our middle school winners right now
- inshallah inshallah
- so uh the next will be inshallah we will
- display maryam farhat in sha allah
- and see what she has
- to say very amazing speech and talented
- younger inshallah
- this was our lesson today
- i hope you guys learned something your
- homework assignment would be to write
- five to seven sentences about why you
- love prophet muhammad sallallahu alaiha
- salaam alaikum guys see you tomorrow
- when i was young my mom always told me
- to love prophet muhammed
- and don't get me wrong he's an amazing
- person
- but you can't love someone just because
- you're told to
- sorry but i kind of have to go right now
- [Music]
- what i mean by that is his love to me
- was so powerful that it made me want to
- love him back
- i could talk about this in any situation
- for example my mom loves me so i love
- her my friend loves me so i love her
- back
- this was what caused me to love
- rasulallah
- you may ask me how do you know that he
- loves you
- well prophet muhammad sallallahu alaihi
- wasallam always talked about how he
- loved his ummah and how he was awaiting
- the moment when he would see us
- nsm thematic reported the messenger of
- allah peace and blessings be upon him
- said
- i wish i could meet my brothers
- the prophet's companion said are we not
- your brothers
- the prophet said you are my companions
- but my brothers are those who have faith
- in me although they never saw me
- prophet muhammad sallallahu alaihi salam
- also saved his dua for us
- what i mean by that is allah subhanahu
- wa
- has given every prophet and messenger
- one dua that will be accepted
- every prophet before him has used this
- dua in the world for himself
- except for rasulallah
- it is narrated in sahih muslim that he
- said i have kept it from my own mouth
- and i will use it for them on the day of
- judgement and my dua will be o allah
- forgive my entire ummah he said aloha
- could have used this toward for his
- uncle abu talib when he was on his
- deathbed and died as a disbeliever
- if he wanted to he could have asked
- allah to cause his uncle to embrace
- islam
- or for hadith
- and his children one day passed away
- he could have asked the law
- to allow his family to be with him until
- he passed away
- for all these hard moments in his life
- but he chose us his ummah over his own
- family
- this is why i love
- for he rasulullah us more than anyone
- else could
- prophet muhammad solo allah has said i'm
- suffered for us just because he soloized
- him loves us and i love him too
- like a movie production
- may allah bless him bless her parents
- who helped her
- fascinating
- and inshallah maybe we'll ask for our
- last time
- our brothers at m team to do the final
- nasheed for us as masha'allah they have
- another engagement that they have to go
- to so please go ahead brothers
- together

- are you in kuala lumpur now
- yes yes
- we're going to have another performance
- of this
- we are very proud and honored to be part
- of this uh barakah even inshallah
- and we hope inshallah in the future we
- could uh go there physically inshallah
- maybe
- what do we have
- next insha allah we are going to move on
- to our young and upcoming speakers the
- high school and college level winners in
- sha allah
- um
- yes inshallah
- and
- we are
- going to share the
- screen inshallah and i will share with
- you
- we will see
- one of our contestants
- um
- amazing sister uh
- inaudible
- why do i love rasulullah sallallahu
- a thousand things come to mind he's our
- messenger he bore allah's love letter to
- humanity he's a mercy to mankind
- he warned us about janna and he showed
- us the way to jenna
- and while all of that is true
- is that really why i love him
- or are these just facts in a history
- book memorize them in my head but never
- hold them in my heart
- so why is it that i love rasulullah
- sallallahu they can send them
- not just respect not just admire
- but love
- i love him because he knew me before i
- knew myself
- he cried for me tears dripping down the
- palms of his hands and the recesses of
- the night
- um
- before i even had a name
- i love him because he thought of me long
- before my heart began its ticking clock
- and the blissful piece of my mother's
- womb
- i love him because he remembered me when
- i was still in the company of the angels
- before i had forgotten when my feet were
- placed on this earth
- i love him because he mentioned me
- he mentioned me proudly in the company
- of the best his ummah who would love him
- without seeing him he would follow his
- way blinded with his love deafened with
- his praise and speechless in his all
- i love him because he loved me
- i love you because you love me
- i love you because you wait for me cup
- in hand by your gotho
- i love you because you won't accept your
- agenda until i have entered mine
- i love you because you hear me and you
- answer me when i pray for you
- i love you because you hurt for me you
- gave for me and you broke for me
- allah
- i love you because i have never deserved
- your love your affection your thoughts
- your tears and yet you spent your nights
- praying for me and you spent your day
- suffering for me
- rasool allah
- i love you because you are a light a
- bright star bursting through pure glass
- devoting your whole life to saving mine
- rasulallah
- i love you because all it takes is your
- name to secure the delivery of my
- prayers to my lord
- maybe allah ridiculous
- i love you because even when i can't
- understand the feeling something in the
- cadence of your name makes my eyes swim
- and my lungs swell and i wish i had
- gotten to see your face hear your voice
- walk amongst your most righteous
- companions so that i might behold even
- the faintest glimpse of the blessing the
- immeasurable blessing of the air through
- which you walked
- yeah muhammad prophet of allah blessings
- and peace be upon you every moment of
- all eternity
- i love you because allah loves you
- i love you because you love me
- i mean wow what a powerful uh
- what do you think liver
- so mashallah
- and just passionate heartfelt from the
- bottom of our heart martial
- unbelievable
- uh masha'allah
- and
- next actually
- was in our program imam tahir
- and there is no
- serious event that will happen in the
- bay area that imam tahir is not part of
- alhamdulillah every event at tawas
- albeit
- like 12 to 4 a.m in ramadan twice he
- attended with us
- this is the third time that he was
- supposed to attend the competition with
- tawasa but subhanallah today he was
- flying back to the bay area his flight
- got delayed by american airlines and he
- is right now in flight so he could have
- not uh
- come with us and spoken with us
- alhamdulillah
- so uh in
- to he give us the permission sha allah
- to fill his spot with the speeches of
- our youth in sha allah i actually uh the
- one that was next after imam tahir was
- an elementary winner but i wanted to
- feature the middle school winner
- uh the the the second show of the middle
- school so sister sadia if you can show
- us the speech of uh brother amman
- hussain inshallah
- and today i just wanted to tell you
- why i
- love the prophet muhammad sallallahu
- alaihi wasallam
- and why you should too
- now i could go on for today
- speaking about
- why we should
- and we do
- love the prophet muhammad sallallahu
- alaihi wasallam
- but i'm just gonna highlight one which
- stands out to me the most
- he never gave up
- and it's not just saying like never give
- up in a sports game or something like
- that but
- just imagine yourself in the position of
- the prophet muhammad said
- when he went to
- which he says was the hardest day of his
- life
- and he was thrown out of the city
- and little kids
- were
- picking up stones
- and throwing it at the prophet muhammed
- little kids
- how humiliating would that be
- blood
- covered his sandals
- a layer on his handles
- it's it's just so hard for him
- so i think that we could all
- take a little bit of that just a little
- tiny itty bit
- and implement that into our lives
- when he got revelation it was also very
- hard for him whenever he got revelations
- from the quran
- he was in pain
- because it was intense and it was hard
- but he didn't just stop there or give up
- and there are so many times
- where
- i myself would probably give up
- because it's so incredibly hard
- but he never did the prophet muhammad
- didn't give up in the year of sadness
- when the closest people in his lives
- died
- he didn't give up
- he pushed on
- and he was rewarded by
- allah
- by going in
- that just shows
- that with perseverance and trust in
- allah
- you will always get rewarded and always
- get back something
- whether it's in this world
- or the next
- that's why i love the prophet muhammad
- just in s you guys are wondering aman is
- the younger brother of our host
- or hostess
- sister laiba
- so masala may allah bless both of your
- parents who raise you make you pleasure
- to their eyes
- and make you always adding to their
- hasanat
- very confident and
- beautiful and calm performance by your
- young brother amman
- masha allah i think
- we have actually you know
- uh a moonshed someone who does nasheed
- and islamic um
- they call it in turkey ilahis like uh
- divine songs
- allah in the quran said one of his signs
- that he
- put a difference in their skin colors
- and in your languages
- so imagine allah and his messengers
- are being praised
- in every language
- so just like we have tasted people who
- joined us life from kuala lumpur
- uh from malaysia our brothers and
- sisters the in team we have with us
- brother murat uh bellet masha'allah he's
- actually joining us from istanbul turkey
- and he loves to sing for allah subhanahu
- ta'ala and for his messenger
- and he has couple songs that he will
- share with us
- so maybe he can
- do the
- arabic one and then the turkish one
- inshallah
- or in any order you like bismillah

- next says sister i think we have a
- sister uh amila al-amin masha'allah
- yes we are going to present our next
- speaker inshallah amina al-amin is a
- board member of the lighthouse mosque in
- oakland where she resides she's the
- co-founder of murray's and program
- director of their eating rights project
- amina has been combating food scarcity
- for over 25 years and for over 20 years
- she has been an active volunteer with
- various relief organizations such as
- ikna alice mohammed's no child goes to
- bed hungry program and support life
- foundation listening
- bismillah
- can you guys hear me
- alhamdulillah
- so i want to first
- thank
- the
- thank team tawasa and i've been going
- back and forth with my daughter
- as whether or not it's supposed to be
- towassel but i keep telling her but it's
- a w
- it's not a it's not a lamb it's a wow
- and so alhamdulillah i want to um first
- thank you and i'm humbled and honored
- to uh have been invited to the program
- i want to say congratulations
- to
- oh my i want to say congratulations to
- the contestants that are coming but also
- to the contestants that have already
- gone brother rasheed sister laba sister
- miriam sister inara
- and brother iman
- you guys have done wonderful
- alhamdulillah very inspirational
- and you guys have really let me know
- that what i want to talk about
- is very important and it is a it is one
- of the reasons that we all love the
- prophet muhammad
- and
- for me as an african-american
- woman what i was thinking was
- um
- why do i love the prophet
- alaihi wasallam and what is the greatest
- lesson that he has taught me
- and living in a country that has not
- always been kind to my people
- and still
- it's pretty unjust
- to my people
- the prophet sallallahu alaihi
- gave an example of how to be forgiving
- and so it would be easy
- for me as an african-american woman to
- encounter those who look like those who
- enslaved my ancestors and who still
- oppress
- african-american black people in this
- country and have some type of
- hatred toward them or
- disdain for them but my prophet
- salallahu alaihi wasallam our prophet
- salallahu he
- was very
- intentional
- in being forgiving
- and
- loving
- those even when they harmed them just
- like the people of tights
- the people of taif were harming him and
- trying to we're humiliating him and when
- the angels came and said to him
- we will do whatever you want as a
- punishment we've been given permission
- to do whatever you want as
- a punishment for them and what he wanted
- was
- if if just their offsprings if some of
- their descendants were to become muslims
- and as we know
- taif is one of the holiest places in the
- world at this time
- um
- so
- when i was listening to our young
- speakers masha allah
- and i was thinking about i was like well
- they're telling my story but i was
- thinking it's not my story it's our
- story and this evening is about them and
- so again
- may the lesson that we all take away
- from this is that
- to have compassion
- for those our fellow man and and and for
- mankind even
- when
- they may not be being very
- compassionate and loving towards us to
- fight those who fight us so that's not
- we we're not to cow
- but
- to not hold malice and to not hold
- hatred in our hearts that is the
- greatest lesson that the prophet
- muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam has
- taught me
- and that is why i love him so much again
- i am so honored and grateful to have
- been a part of this wonderful program
- and insha allah i look forward for the
- rest of the contestants performances
- thank you for coming and joining us
- you know
- at tawasa we partner
- with other organizations to
- give
- an a venue for our youth to volunteer so
- one of our the five goals that we have
- is the
- community service
- so masha'allah uh even though sister
- amila has an organization
- of her own that does
- feeding and food security and you know
- which is
- been there for a long time even with
- that she comes every saturday
- at mca
- from 7 00 a.m to 12
- you know noon
- and uh
- you know runs the program and we bring
- the tawasa youth
- and the parents so we some the parents
- come with their children
- whether they are high schoolers or
- middle schoolers or elementary to come
- at the event at support life foundation
- which like it's amazing every saturday
- like there's food distribution
- um like we're talking about 25 tons of
- food 25 000 pounds of food distributed
- in four hours to over 500 addresses and
- that's only on saturday on friday a
- similar operation in oakland that
- distributes food to the east bay and uh
- on sunday another location it's just
- mashaallah very beautiful so uh that's
- how we bring our youth to community
- service and it's so much fun coffee
- donuts uh you know pizza you know
- amazing breakfast alhamdulillah thank
- you sister
- amila for coming and you know talking
- about you know subhanallah not holding
- anything in your heart and uh
- forgiveness how much that message brings
- people in i have a surprise for everyone
- masha'allah
- right now in the middle of our program
- inshallah
- a very beautiful uh
- brother
- who will take his shahada with us right
- now
- and uh he is of french origins from
- belgium
- so i know he's with us i think on the uh
- on this brother oliver
- and if you are here you can unmute
- yourself and you you can uh
- you know turn on your camera insha allah
- uh but
- you know maybe you can get ready masha
- allah so sister sadia if you can bring
- him with me to the screen and pin both
- of us
- masha allah
- assalamu alaikum brother
- so
- brother oliver
- if you can share with us few words of
- why
- you are embracing islam today inshallah
- yeah
- i want to share my life with mel and i
- want to be the imam of the family
- masha allah what is it in islam that
- specifically attracted you like
- as you're going through this journey
- you've been interacting with muslims for
- now 10 20 years if not more
- so what is it in islam
- i'm interested about the
- the story the culture the philosophy
- allah bless you
- and inshallah we would like in front of
- everyone to inshallah give you your
- shahada and welcome you to the folds of
- islam and fall of in the muslim
- community as you can see masha'allah
- very talented young children here very
- good speakers masha allah so
- if you want to repeat after me and say
- ash
- allah
- [Music]
- brother oliver for
- this peaceful night uh in the
- remembrance of allah and his messenger
- thank you for coming thank you for
- joining us
- and we pray for you of a beautiful
- journey with islam and we are here your
- brothers and sisters anytime you need
- anything uh we're here for you insha
- allah but thank you for joining us
- thank you thank you very much
- uh that was a uh you know a surprise of
- the night
- of
- and um
- we don't want to forget our youth so i
- want to go back to the beautiful the the
- next one in the elementary school
- speeches if we can have her inshallah
- that would be amazing
- or i have them uh i'll tell you the name
- of the next contestant insha allah
- they're uh
- they're with us here
- and
- i would like to hear from habiba ali
- where are you happy valley sister sadie
- if you can display her speech inshallah
- assalamu alaikum
- assam alaikum my name is habiba ali and
- i am in fourth grade
- fourth today i'm going to be talking
- about why do we love our beloved prophet
- muhammad
- so let's start
- allah says
- except as a mercy to the worlds
- there are some social reasons for loving
- the last prophet muhammad
- the love will overflow by itself
- every virtue that the recommended can be
- definitely found in him
- some people compared his beauty to the
- sun while other people compared his
- beauty to the moon but internally he had
- an achieved perfection like character
- like honesty generosity courage loyalty
- empathy humility kindness patience
- integrity and so much more
- can you imagine how all these virtues
- blended into one person in such a
- perfect way
- this is what the prophet sallallahu
- alaihi wasallam had achieved
- let me tell you three facts fact number
- one
- the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam
- loved playing with children and
- respected elders including women
- whenever some like older people pass by
- he put his head down out of humbleness
- he did not care how much sad he was but
- he respected people that too
- um like whenever someone was speaking
- with the prophet sallallahu alaihi
- wasallam
- but the prophet of allah
- put his head towards the person towards
- that was like talking and the whole body
- fact three do you know the city of
- the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam
- went there before he went his adopted
- child said
- who
- and
- when they arrived
- they were disrespected when the prophet
- sallallahu alaihi wasallam was like
- inviting them to islam they did not
- accept it at all
- okay so a tife through big stone that
- the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam
- and they tried to stop him
- like them and so um the prophet saw
- allah sacrificed and this is not a
- single fact how he sacrificed
- he did it for his ummah
- now let me tell you his last sermon
- all mankind is from adam and eve
- an arab has no superiority over a
- non-arab nor does a non-rub or have any
- superiority over an arab a black has no
- superiority or a white nor does a white
- have none superiority over black
- no one have any superiority over another
- except by piety and good action
- like bad people and good people and good
- people are superior than the bad people
- so um in the day of judgment the prophet
- sallallahu alaihi wasallam is going to
- be waiting for us like to come to heaven
- if we pray in the mass but then today
- like prayed prayer five times a day and
- rick
- um and so these are the deeds you should
- do to like go to jannah and he's gonna
- be waiting for us he's gonna request
- online he will like i think allah will
- send us to jannah inshallah so till next
- time it's me habiba ali and my blessings
- be peace be upon our beloved prophet
- muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam till
- next time it's me habiba ali and allah
- wow masha'allah that was uh
- amazing uh masha'allah sister libo what
- do you think
- mashaallah our speakers just keep on
- getting better they're all so amazing
- and confident
- uh so inshallah we have our next guest
- speaker a beloved person to me please go
- ahead and introduce doctor
- mangura was born in sierra leone where
- he did his undergraduate studies and he
- has a phd in comparative literature he
- has taught courses at the university of
- san francisco for 23 years during this
- time he used opportunities he had to
- seek islamic knowledge and study arabic
- in middle eastern countries
- in 1996 he founded and is still the
- chair of san foundation for west africa
- which is a non-profit dedicated to
- humanitarian work and community
- empowerment
- now dedicates his time in retirement to
- uplifting communities in west africa
- writing and the exploration of
- understanding the arabic and the quran
- through each other
- i feel very blessed to be uh in this
- fellowship this evening
- actually when i listened to our young
- daughters and sons
- in this
- vika of muhammad sallam there's only one
- thing that comes to my mind
- i think of my aunt in african sierra
- leone she was totally illiterate
- and she used to say uh something i would
- never forget that is uh in timney and
- dinah both
- which means that this deen is sweet
- this dean is sweet
- and and and for her the deen of islam is
- is really something to be savored
- something to be tasted like food is
- tasted
- uh and if one does not taste the
- sweetness of this deen
- one has not tasted anything in one's
- life
- and this is uh confirmed by my um
- participation this evening this blessed
- evening um in this victory of muhammad
- sallam
- you know everything about us is a vicar
- of muhammad saw everything
- that we will live our lives
- our names are the
- there is a tribe in africa called the
- hausa
- some people have five uh five boys they
- call them all muhammad sallallahu alaihi
- sallam
- muhammad
- muhammad and so on and so forth so
- everything about about us
- is is a vicar of muhammad sallam and i'm
- reminded of a very touching moment for
- me in medina when one old man said um as
- he met me for the first time
- and he was crying uh
- he is his story is so overwhelming for
- me
- that
- you realize just how blessed this uh
- human being muhammad
- is how much of his love is ingrained in
- the in the in the hearts of the most
- beautiful people in the world that they
- love him to cherish him and what i heard
- tonight is just a testament to that to
- that to that um a perpetual fact reality
- i cannot really
- tell you one thing for for which i
- i feel so connected to the to muhammad
- with him is so is so intense and so
- varied uh uh but i'll just pick on just
- three things i want to focus on and that
- is his wisdom uh he's been very
- principled and and the special place he
- had in his heart for the young and the
- very special place muhammad salem had
- for for young people
- i wanted to imagine uh
- one of the sisters i think she's in
- college she just spoke and she brought
- me to tears
- imagine her in the comp in the comfort
- of muhammad salad alison imagine her
- there
- and and imagine muhammad sallam asking
- her something asking her permission for
- something would she should she say no to
- that to that to that request of muhammad
- said i said would you say no would you
- have the power to say no
- well i want to take you today to a story
- that is carried by muslim and bukhari uh
- it's a very riveting story in which uh
- muhammad was in the comp it was in the
- um company of
- sahaba
- and and and a drink was brought to him
- and he drank of this milk very
- peacefully very calmly as you imagine
- uh but it so happened that on his right
- hand side
- was a young man a very young person it
- says
- i'm probably around 10 or 15 years old
- that is a person who's right hand side
- the only one there
- and to his left are the kibar the the
- older sahaba i don't know who they are
- it could be muhammad it could be
- and all of those great people
- so imagine this this situation which he
- drunk and everybody would love to try to
- drink after muhammad said i said
- everybody would like to be first to
- drink from him
- and so he turns to this young man it
- says
- would you permit me to
- would you permit me to give the drink to
- to the other people to the older people
- that was a question
- now you first ask yourself how did he
- manage to get there
- well he got there because he knew that
- mohamed salah had a very special place
- in his heart for young people he sought
- him he was there not only was he there
- he was very very close to him not only
- very close to him he was on his the
- right
- his right hand side and not only that
- muhammad
- sallallahu salaam turned to him
- just not to talk to him
- to ask of him almost a favor
- a permission to do something imagine
- that
- muhammad said i said i'm turning to you
- to talk to you directly not only to talk
- to you to ask you for something that you
- wanted to do
- what was it that you asked him to do may
- i give this string to these people
- may i give this drink to these people
- first before i give you
- now i want you to imagine that there are
- two principles here at stake and they're
- all about etiquette
- there is the etiquette of
- the for the older people there's also
- the etiquette of
- giving
- precedence to the right hand
- what must be done here
- what takes precedence
- which principle is higher
- the most
- amazing thing about all these brothers
- and sisters is that muhammad sallam did
- not make that decision
- he did not decide what to do in this
- case he gave that to his
- sought his permission
- to give the drink to the older people
- first
- so he had to decide the young man had to
- decide
- that is the honor that he had for this
- young man but there is also wisdom in
- this move of his
- imagine if he had been the one to decide
- whether to give the drink to the young
- man or to give the drink to the older
- people this is a big topic i don't want
- to address that here now the fact is
- that he did not and the wisdom there is
- so so sublime
- and the boy's answer
- the young man's answer is
- no i will not
- i will not give preference to anyone
- over myself
- on this fortune coming from you
- i will not give preference to anyone
- over myself
- on this fortune that has come from you
- and muhammad said i said let me turn to
- him
- after he drank he gave him the cup the
- boy drank first and that was the end of
- the story
- so imagine
- this scenario
- uh of this beautiful story of
- uh prophet muhammad bin with a young man
- and your older people and look at the
- respect he had for this young man and
- look at the love that this young man had
- first of all to find a place in the
- company of these old people
- and look at how much he desired
- to drink after muhammad sallallahu
- alaihi sallam before anybody else even
- at the expense of disobeying muhammad
- sallallahu imagine that situation and
- yet muhammad said
- he gave him the cup to drink and that
- was the end
- of the story
- a great story of wisdom a great story of
- the place that young people had in the
- heart of muhammad sallam but also in the
- wisdom of the young people
- look at the answer of this young man he
- did not just say no i'm not going to do
- that he said i cannot i cannot do this i
- wish i were able to give this to these
- young old people i cannot do that i
- cannot give up this privilege this
- fortune
- that came to me
- to anybody else
- so this is not saying i will not do this
- yeah yeah rasulullah i cannot do this i
- cannot do this
- and so muhammad said i said he turned to
- him he gave him the cup he drank and
- that was the end of the story so this is
- what i wanted to share with you tonight
- to see these moments
- there are
- plenty of them the seerah they're very
- silent to don't talk about them
- which
- exhibit
- bring to light
- the
- incredibly beautiful character and
- wisdom of muhammad sallallahu alaihi
- um and and of course the wisdom of our
- young man he could have been 10 15.
- could have been one of these people
- speaking here today and by hearing these
- young men speak today
- i am confident i'm confident that the
- baton of tawaheed of the love of him has
- been passed on to them and what we heard
- will be with a heard will be heard by
- the one great great grandchildren shalom
- is it anywhere nick on you on the desk
- next to you
- the old one but the new one is coming i
- prefer to eat for them you can hold the
- the old one i just wanted to people to
- know about the book that you've written
- recently
- masha'allah and now it's a new uh
- refreshed uh
- this masha allah
- exerts from the stories of the prophet
- sallallahu alaihi wasallam
- and brotherhood
- is masha'allah so mashallah oh there we
- go indelible footprints that's amazing
- so inshallah it's it's on amazon right
- if people uh search it
- yes yes masha allah may allah accept
- from you
- and your children
- so i think next we have a i think sister
- liver we have a um
- a middle school contestant a very uh
- and uh
- he's very famous his name is sami
- youssef can you believe sami youssef is
- on
- on our program masha allah
- but this is a a very beautiful young sam
- youssef and we would like to hear his
- speech before we hear our keynote
- speaker shaykh nasir janga inshallah go
- ahead
- assalamu alaikum my name is samyasaf and
- i'll be reading to you why i love the
- prophet sallallahu alaihi salaam
- why i love our prophet sallallahu alaihi
- salam
- muhammad sallallahu alaihi
- he is the greatest blessing he was sent
- down it to be a role model
- he's the most beloved he is there so we
- can emulate good things that he has done
- until the end of days
- allah said in the quran we have a
- sentence
- mercy to all of humanity
- the name muhammad means the most and all
- praiseworthy
- in the quran which is the light to
- guidance
- a light sent to light up a dark world
- his demeanor was so pleasing to the eyes
- he was the most handsome out of all men
- he added the highest morals the
- compassion of the prophet muhammad
- sallam
- said they'd always seen him with a smile
- and a never with a frown i love muhammad
- sallam because he taught us
- about allah he taught us about his life
- and
- taught us about the afterlife he told us
- right from wrong he told us of how to
- live ethically upright with the moral
- values
- he era eradicate eradicated
- racism when it was the norm
- the prophetess muhammad sallam said
- there is no exaltation no virtue of an
- arabic over a non-arab of a of a black
- over a white or a white over black every
- single one of them is the one and the
- same side of god the almighty and
- everyone came from adam i love him
- because he sacrificed everything for the
- guidance of humanity
- i would like to end it with a few of the
- final thoughts we love adore and are in
- awe of our favorites sports athletes
- actor singer and so on we want to
- imitate to them be like them but there
- is something missing
- when we cry for them
- would uh they cry for us too
- most probably not because for them they
- are like well what what makes you
- something special or deserving there is
- someone who will cry for you not that
- will cry will more for you
- even though he is far more special and
- worthy of adoration than anyone else
- would it be ever be
- the prophet muhammad sallallahu alaikum
- a man who would have stand up in the
- night until his skin would crack just
- praying that we would be here with him
- when we pass away
- a man who would cry after the thought of
- having followers who would believe in
- him without having seen him
- every prophet was granted a guaranteed
- dua and he saved his and he saved his
- for us
- a man who was loved as a leader
- a man and his companions would fight
- over the drops of water and that would
- have fall off his skin
- this is a man who would cry for you i
- asked myself is he not worthy of my
- tears too
- i love my prophet muhammad sallallahu
- alaihi sallam
- peace be upon him
- thank you for listening
- and
- i would like to uh turn it to you sister

- board of directors and all the workers
- that helped me took me to india three
- times to visit and see with my own eyes
- their work
- uh so masha'allah we have a lot of our
- sponsors that
- actually
- came and supported us alhamdulillah

- live streamed on all of their channels
- actually so masha'allah

- to 1 000 viewers instantly
- uh alhamdulillah so that's uh the barak
- and the blessing of allah and i'll give
- it back to you sister libra
- inshallah so our keynote speaker
- um just a small bio he was born raised
- in dallas has completed an extensive
- study of the life of the prophet
- sallallahu alaihi wasallam
- he studied the islamic sciences full
- time in karachi and he also attained a
- bachelor's and masters in arabic while
- completing a masters in islamic studies
- he taught arabic and islamic studies at
- the university of texas he worked with
- various islamic schools and served as
- the imam out of masjid in the dallas
- area and now he's the founder director
- and instructor at golam actually one of
- my teachers
- alhamdulillah so without further ado
- it's a pleasure and an honor to be here
- with you all today
- it's nice to uh see and hear from sister
- live mashallah
- and obviously it's always a pleasure
- uh
- and just such a joy to see in here
- may allah preserve and protect you
- um
- and this program the tawaso program
- uh mashallah every single year
- i was just listening to the speech being
- presented by
- brother sami yusuf mashallah um and it's
- just so riveting um
- you know i i couldn't stop listening if
- he would have gone on for 30 minutes i
- would have been glued to the screen just
- listening to him to hear
- a young
- you know bright muslim
- a believer 1400 years later halfway
- across the world
- um speak about the prophet salallahu
- from his heart
- and to express his love
- for the prophet sallallahu alaihi
- wasallam just moves
- you beyond beyond words
- so i find it really hard
- to follow that
- but
- insha allah in just a few moments in a
- few minutes here with you today i wanted
- to share a little bit about
- uh one thought one reflection i wanted
- to share a perspective
- on why i love the prophet
- there is an expression in english in our
- culture here
- um they say never meet your heroes
- and the expression basically what it
- means what it speaks to is that if you
- idolize someone
- you look up to someone
- you admire someone
- and
- from afar
- you are extremely impressed
- and just blown away by the person
- then there's that that's something very
- powerful that you have in your life
- you have something that you aspire to
- you have something that you look up to
- but if you meet that person
- what you risk
- is maybe losing
- that
- you know
- immensely inspirational force that you
- have in your life
- you know
- um the
- you know brother uh brother sammy in his
- uh presentation
- he talked about you know people who
- might look up to athletes or celebrities
- you know imagine if there's some kid
- um
- you know and uh growing up
- this kid plays basketball all the time
- every chance every opportunity he gets
- he's outside
- you know dribbling a basketball back and
- forth up and down you know if he finds a
- hoop then he's there shooting
- you know shot after shot
- and there's a professional basketball
- player
- a professional athlete that he looks up
- to that he admires that he models his
- game after he tries to imitate him he
- tries to mock him he tries to
- emulate him
- and
- he
- thinks that he wants to be just like
- that person
- and he looks up to that person so much
- and now imagine one day
- you know he
- goes to a game
- all right um
- it's not cheap
- you know uh he has to save up a lot of
- money
- and he has to beg his parents please
- please take me to the game
- and they drive an hour two hours away
- and then you know park the car and walk
- all the way to the arena and then stand
- in line for an hour to get in and they
- finally get in and they get there like a
- couple of hours early so when the
- players come out onto the court to shoot
- around and to practice
- you know he's lying he's amongst those
- early people who got there
- um
- awaiting their arrival
- and when they arrive the people who get
- there early they're standing in the
- front and he's standing there with like
- a piece of paper and a pen
- for him to autograph
- you know give him his autograph
- and
- the player walks by and he's asking for
- his autograph and the player looks at
- him makes eye contact with him and then
- just keeps walking
- and now think about how devastated that
- boy is he met his hero
- and his hero let him down
- so that's
- situations like that
- is where we have this expression in our
- culture this idea
- in our culture never meet your heroes
- but the prophet sallallahu alaihi
- wasallam is the opposite of that
- and how do we know that
- i haven't met the prophet salallahu in
- person you haven't met the prophet
- salallahu in person how do we know that
- well we know that because
- every single person in the life of the
- prophet
- ev and not just every single person in
- the life of the prophet we heard many
- people mention these things today about
- how beautiful the prophet salallahu was
- you know jabbing
- he says that i was sitting there looking
- at the prophet salallahu and i it was
- the night of the full moon
- and
- laila it was a br like a really bright
- night the full moon was out full there
- were no clouds and it was just like a
- radiant night
- and i looked at the full moon and i
- looked at the prophet
- at the salallahu
- moon then i looked at the prophet
- salallahu and he says he was more
- beautiful than the full moon
- and not just that the closer someone was
- to the prophet salallahu
- the more they were in awe of him the
- closer they were to him
- the more closely they knew him
- the more they interacted with him the
- more they loved him
- the more they admired him
- the more they respected him
- the more they
- were impressed by him
- the more they wanted to be like him
- the more they loved him
- and i have a couple of excerpts here
- very quick excerpts that i'll share with
- you to illustrate this point
- there's a very famous compilation of
- narrations
- about the prophet sallallahu alaihi
- wasallam called
- muhammad
- the prophetic personality sallallahu
- alaihi wasallam
- and this is a compilation
- by imam
- allah it has
- 397 or 396 narrations almost 400
- narrations divided into 56 chapters
- and it beautifully describes intricately
- everything you you would want to know
- about the prophet salallahu
- and in the very first chapter
- a description about
- the features and the physical presence
- of the prophet sallallahu alaihi sallam
- you have a narration
- from none other than ali bin abidalib
- radhiallahu
- maybe knew the prophet salallahu just as
- well as anyone
- he
- by relation by blood he is the cousin of
- the prophet salallahu but he was a lot
- younger than him
- so his father
- ali
- whose father abu talib the uncle of the
- prophet salallahu salaam
- he was the man who had raised the
- prophet salallahu from the age of eight
- because his father passed his mother
- passed his grandfather passed
- and so abu talib raised the prophet
- salallahu salaam
- now ali
- because he was so young abu thought it
- was very elderly
- the prophet salallahu to help abu talib
- he took in ali
- and raised him like one of his own
- so ali
- who knows the prophet salallahu so well
- he grew up in his home
- he grew up like one of his children so
- he knew him since he was a child
- he knew him in the role of a guardian
- a parent a legal guardian
- and not only that but then he would
- become muslim and accept islam
- in at the very onset of the mission
- so then he spent 23 years as a believer
- as a follower or as a student
- of the prophet salallahu not only that
- but then he was married to
- the daughter of the prophet sallallahu
- alaihi wasallam
- so he knew the prophet salallahu as a
- father-in-law
- so he knows him as a guardian
- as a parental figure
- he knows him as a prophet he knows him
- as a teacher he knows him as the
- messenger
- and he knows him as a father-in-law as
- an in-law
- and what does it
- say when he describes the prophet
- sallallahu alaihi wasallam
- he says
- the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam
- was the
- most generous of people
- he was the most truthful and honest of
- people
- that he was the gentlest
- of people
- in demeanor in behavior
- and he was the most noble
- and respectful of people
- if someone saw him all of a sudden
- they would be impressed by him
- womanhood
- and if somebody actually got the
- opportunity to interact with him
- they would fall in love with him
- sallallahu
- he says that
- i never saw anyone before him nor did i
- ever see anyone after him who was quite
- like him
- there's another excerpt
- where this individual is a fascinating
- you know situation
- his name is
- the
- son of khadijah
- our mother the mother of the believers
- she was married before she was married
- to the prophet sallallahu alaihi
- she had a son from that marriage
- his name he was a boy when she married
- the prophet salallahu and his name was
- hind
- so he is the stepson of the prophet
- salallahu
- once again
- pardon my reference but we're all
- familiar right growing up about stories
- about step parents and step children
- right i hate to make such a terrible
- reference in such a beautiful gathering
- but
- we all grew up knowing the story of
- cinderella right
- and her evil stepmother and her
- stepsisters and so it's kind of a
- a cliche
- in our
- culture
- about you know step children and step
- parents and the relationship there
- in our culture
- it tells us that it's not supposed to be
- really good
- this is the stepson of the prophet
- salallahu
- and the prophet salallahu as his own
- and
- even
- hassan the grandson of the prophet
- sallallahu alaihi
- s the family of the prophet
- he says that
- i asked my uncle because he's the older
- half brother of his mother fatima
- to describe the prophet sallallahu
- alaihi wasallam and he says
- he was the most elaborate person when it
- came to describing the physical presence
- of the prophet salallahu
- and
- when he describes the prophet salallahu
- he says
- the stepson of the prophet saw
- he says
- he said the prophet sallallahu alaihi
- wasallam
- was very honorable
- and respected
- he was awe-inspiring
- he was impressive
- he took your breath away
- and he says
- but
- he says that his face would shine and
- radiate his face would glow
- like the glow of the full moon
- on a still night
- and so
- the people who knew the prophet
- salallahu best
- they forget about being diminished in
- their appreciation of him
- forget about taking him for granted
- they
- were the most impressed by him
- because that's the character of the
- prophet salallahu he loved everyone he
- respected everyone he honored everyone
- he looked at everyone he saw everyone
- he listened to everyone he spoke to
- everyone
- he prayed for everyone he cried for
- everyone and that
- character
- that
- just
- beauty
- is why i love the prophet salallahu

- themselves insha'allah
- for attending with us tonight and i
- would like to end
- the program with
- um the poem that uh
- sister fatima delivered and she was
- the third winner mashaallah even though
- this competition is public speaking but
- she combined public speaking with poem
- in a very beautiful way so sister sadia
- please run her and then we conclude our
- program jazakum baker
- my name is
- is
- alhamdulillah so the technical
- difficulty happened sorry about that
- yeah it looks like it's something i
- think it has played two on two windows
- i'm sorry let me just try it inshallah
- the prophet muhammad was brave and bold
- yet he was the most kind
- he had a soft heart that shone like gold
- and he never left a friend behind
- [Music]
- he went through agony yet stayed strong
- faith was his food and
- was his song he tried to convince
- pureish to take heed yet they were
- consumed by their very own greed
- when he spoke with them
- they would force a laugh
- they didn't even change when he split
- the moon in half his will was strong and
- he never stopped believing because he
- knew it was worth achieving
- so he strobed for his faith with
- radiance on his face his companions say
- that he continuously prayed and there
- was no human who smiled more than he he
- always cared for humanity
- yet those close to him also relate that
- he did not have an easy fate
- he had to struggle through pain
- agony that could drive someone insane
- and there was no man who cried more than
- he as he strove for his community
- when the people of law if stoned him for
- miles sneering with nasty smiles the
- angel gave him the choice to crush his
- antagonists with a mountain or leave
- them alive
- and in a calm voice
- he said to let them thrive
- for how could we know that their
- children wouldn't grow into dedicated
- slaves of their lord the prophet
- preferred peace to the sword
- yet he was mighty when battle raged he
- would fight allah's enemies like a lion
- uncaged with fierce companions by his
- side the fire of hope never died
- he gave to his loved ones more than
- required and allah's company was what he
- most desired even when riches were
- acquired he never gave in to greed or
- when he was wary and tired he still
- quenched others needs he planted the
- strongest seeds of friendship and honor
- and loyalty he never chose royalty he
- always kept his dignity
- he never stopped striving for a better
- world and thanks to him the squirrel of
- islam was unfurled indeed muhammad
- sallallahu alaihi wasallam is the most
- worthy of praise may we remember him for
- the rest of our days his life was a
- light that reminds us all that in shadow
- of doom we should stand tall
- put our trust in a law and keep our
- faith with joy in our eyes and a smile
- on our face
- jazakallahu for listening i hope you
- enjoyed that poem
- and i hope that you will tell others
- about our amazing prophet and share your
- love for him
- and inshallah i hope that you are
- encouraged to learn more about him and
- his seerah assalamu alaikum
- is
