College Students
Tawasaw offers dedicated programs for college students and MSAs (Muslim Student Associations), providing meaningful support and engagement during this important stage of life. Through lecture series, halaqas, and campus-based gatherings, students are given opportunities to deepen their understanding of Islam while navigating the challenges of college life. Tawasaw also partners with MSAs to support iftars and student-led events, helping foster strong, connected campus communities rooted in faith, reflection, and belonging.
Lecture Series
Offered to MSAs
Tawasaw offers lecture series for MSAs that focus on essential topics such as diseases of the heart, self-purification, and strengthening one’s relationship with Allah. These sessions are designed to provide students with both knowledge and practical guidance, helping them navigate internal struggles while staying grounded in their faith. Through thoughtful talks, reflection, and open discussion, students are encouraged to develop greater self-awareness, sincerity, and spiritual clarity—equipping them to grow in both their personal lives and their connection to Allah.
Umrah Trip
Annual Umrah with Shaykh Alauddin ElBakri
Tawasaw organizes Umrah trips each year for college students and families—offering a unique opportunity to combine spiritual renewal with meaningful community connection. Traveling together to Makkah and Madinah, participants perform Umrah while deepening their relationship with Allah and strengthening bonds within the Tawasaw community. These journeys are more than a trip; they are shared experiences of reflection, growth, and barakah, creating lasting impact in both Deen and Dunya.
Monthly Hike
Monthly
Tawasaw’s monthly hikes offer a refreshing opportunity for college students and young professionals to connect with Allah through reflection in nature while strengthening bonds within the community. These gatherings bring participants together in a relaxed, uplifting environment where conversation, mentorship, and companionship unfold naturally. Through shared experiences outdoors, young professionals are able to pause, reflect, and reconnect—nurturing both their spiritual well-being and their sense of belonging.
1:1 Counseling with Shaykh ElBakri
Personal Guidance
Tawasaw offers opportunities for 1:1 halaqa with Shaykh Alauddin Elbakri, providing a rare and meaningful space for personal guidance and deeper learning. In these one-on-one sessions, participants are able to engage directly with the Shaykh—asking questions, seeking clarity, and receiving tailored advice on their spiritual and personal journey. This experience reflects the Prophetic tradition of individualized mentorship, helping individuals grow in knowledge, strengthen their relationship with Allah, and navigate life with greater clarity and purpose.
