Camp Iqra is a foundational learning program within the Tawasaw Journey, designed to nurture students in the core teachings of Islam while immersing them in a community of mentorship and growth.
Camp Iqra follows The Tawasaw Way, a mentorship-centered approach to learning modeled after the Prophetic Suhbah Method—where mentors guide, mentees support through companionship, and faith is lived, not only taught.
Through mentorship and experiential learning, students build a strong foundation in essential areas of Islamic knowledge:
Qur’an Tafsir: Exploring the meanings and guidance of the Qur’an and reflecting on how its message shapes our lives.
Hadith: Studying selected sayings of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and learning how they guide our character and daily actions.
Seerah: Discovering the life of the Prophet ﷺ and drawing lessons from his leadership, compassion, and faith.
Essential Fiqh: Learning the foundations of Tahara, Wudu’ and Salah.
Adab and Akhlaq: Cultivating beautiful character, manners, humility, and responsibility inspired by the Prophetic example.
Through this process, students grow not only in knowledge but also in faith, character, responsibility, and leadership within the community.
