The Tawasaw Learning Journey
A lifelong path of growth, mentorship, and leadership that begins in early childhood and comes full circle. It starts with the Parent Seedlings Club (ages 1–5), equipping parents to nurture their children through community and guidance. From there, children grow through the Adventurer (6–9) and Pioneer (10–12) stages, building foundations of faith and character under mentorship.
In their teen years, they step into leadership as Junior Mentors (13–15) and Certified Mentors (16–18)—guiding younger students while deepening their own learning and leadership skills.
Beyond 18, they enter the Legacy path as Legacy Mentors who lead initiatives. Legacy Shepherds mentor and guide Legacy Mentors on their journey. Legacy Stewards lead Tawasaw Chapters nationally and globally. All Legacy path leaders receive scholarly guidance from the Legacy Council.
At 20+, college students and young professionals receive mentorship, matrimonial guidance, and support in building marriages on Islamic principles.
As they marry and raise families of their own, they return to the Parent Seedlings stage—completing a continuous cycle of generations nurtured through Tawasaw.

Within this age group, students grow through two key stages: Adventurers (ages 6–9) and Pioneers (ages 10–12). Adventurers focus on building foundational character, habits, and a love for learning, while Pioneers are supported through specialized programming designed for their growing independence. At this stage, students are guided to take greater ownership of their learning, deepen their sense of responsibility, and begin navigating their identity with confidence and intention.

Tawasaw offers programs for youth ages 13–18 that support their transition into deeper faith, self-awareness, and leadership. During these critical years, students are guided through mentorship and experiential learning to strengthen their relationship with Allah, develop clarity in their identity, and take ownership of their growth.
Within this stage, youth step into active roles as Junior Mentors (ages 13–15) and Certified Mentors (ages 16–18), where they guide and support younger students—serving as mentors to Adventurers and Pioneers. Through this responsibility, they grow as both learners and leaders, developing confidence, character, and a sense of purpose.
